Need advice: 30 Weeks and feel like third trimester has been an emotional rollercoaster. Get upset very easily and any small comment made by my husband makes me cry. Tonight I was by myself for dinner and could not stop crying and feeling anxious, scared and alone. I don’t know if this is depression or just hormonal. Has anyone felt like this ever or I should take it more seriously and talk to my provider about it in my next visit?

Leaving Amazon saved my life. I spent over seven years at the company and after about 6 months I began experiencing a lot of stress-related things like hair falling out, tension in my marriage etc. All that is gone now. I feel so free.

I have $100K liquid cash over and above maxing out 401K, HSA, College fund, investments in Index funds and emergency fund. I plan to leave $25K for contingency. What are you all reading other than maternity help books? Any book recommendations for after baby is born? Mainly around how to keep the baby safe from injuries and incidents.

Anyone ever considered contractor gig in Meta/Facebook or any other big players in tech? I'm full-time in a smaller company and it's pretty stable. Wondering if the move could be worthwhile. Mostly want to explore other areas. Other things to consider: planning for babies in the next 3-5 years; maternity leave in current position is basically what's legally required.

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. Any suggestions?
