Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!
Hi All, Today I've resigned and my LOD is 2 Sept. Can anyone please let me know for these 90 days salary would be credited only after FnF. Or June'22 salary will be credited as usual, however, July and September salary would be credited during FnF. Please confirm or suggest.

I don’t know why anyone is surprised, this is exactly what was going to happen all along. Especially if they’re hiring for a level range.
Rising Star
Employers have been doing this in other pay transparency states for years, why is anyone surprised??
It’s ok, that’s why we do the legendary pay transparency survey each year on here 🙏
I mean… it’s not like there’s ONE job available. They’re hiring a range of consultants and this would be the range of comp commensurate with experience
What did anyone actually expect to get out of this? You all think this is was going to be published and you’d walk in to your partner’s office with a job posting print and get a 30% raise?
As much as everyone not at Deloitte enjoys mocking Deloitte, they are doing what everyone else is here.
These laws do not require reporting that states, say, the range that 80% of people in the role make. That would generate more useful data as these large ranges are merely the boundaries of the possible including every edge case.
Also, what we’ve seen with the Colorado law has been avoidance of posting roles there by some companies, particularly remote roles that don’t absolutely need to be filled in the state, to avoid disclosure. I think that’s less likely with NY given the greater number of companies and depth of talent there, but this will probably continue to be an unintended consequence of this type of law until they become far more common in the states or a federal law overrides.
Pay transparency is good, and this type of law is a first step, but it is hardly a perfect one.
That’s not a mockery, that looks like a legitimate pay band based on experience and steps
I mean… have you seen the pay bands? The band for a senior manager is even crazier.
Publishing a range is actually right thing. Not much good is gonna happen by advertising salaries instead it will likely contribute to increased rent for tenants.
To be fair, that seems like a national range, from LCOL to HCOL and YOE based. Other companies have posted much larger ranges.
I don’t see anything wrong with the range posted. That is totally normal for a salary range. Politicians were dumb to settle on Salary Range because even in companies where ranges are published to employees, they are always wide. Wonder why companies didn’t lobby to change/prevent the law(s)? because range ALREADY doesn’t mean much. Want change? Require posting average salary of current incumbents as long as there is at least five in the job. P.S. did you know it’s common for companies to pay above or below the range anyways? shocker! Look up “Green Circle” and “Red Circle” in the Compensation world…

That sounds about right for the range of home grown first year Senior to MBA hire Senior on the cusp of Manager. I wouldn’t expect any finer granularity.
Shoot for the median one then.
I checked out the postings, many made sense. It’s normal for bands to be wide, at any company. I saw some posts that showed $300 salary and forgot the 000s. The Citi job post was the best, 0-2million range.
