I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

OP, deep down you know what’s the right thing to do. No one can suggest what’s the best course of action without understanding your situation in a complete picture. But I do want to say that I feel the same way and I’m putting in my notice tomorrow without a job lined up. If you don’t take risks, you will be stuck doing the same thing. (Ofc you have have the option to keep working and job hunt at the same time)
If you want a gap that's fine, but I would just take it easy at work, put in 40 hours, and spend time outside of work applying and talking to recruiters.
myself and just mill about? I’ve been saving diligently so cash isn’t an issue. Just not sure how great it would look if I have a 1-3 mo gap. Any advice would be appreciated
1-3 months is no big deal. When you’re looking to come back on the workforce you can just say you took a mental health break. Any reasonable person would understand that, and if they pester you with a line of questions to dig further, then ask yourself if that’s a management style you want to deal with.
