Trying to get a DMV knowledge test for my teenage child for learners permit in NJ. There are no apts available for initial permit that is required to book a knowledge test but the person at DMV asked me to get a non-driver ID first and then use that to register for knowledge test. Anyone knows if that would work?

Has anyone made the transition from non-profit and small firm practice to federal government, big law, in-house? I’m struggling with an issue with a student right now. I teach in a suburban school outside of NYC that has a very large majority of white students. One of my Black students was recently involved in a biased incident with another student in which he received racist social media messages and racist spoken words from the other student. Have you ever taken a career slow down? I am feeling burnt out from COVID and the incremental responsibilities thrown my way over the last 5+ years. I feel like my health has deteriorated.
