Trying to get to Johannesburg from ATL in the spring for my honeymoon. What’s the best way to get there for least amount of damage? I’m platinum on Delta through the recent challenge and would love a business class experience but not sure if $8k per ticket is going to be worth it.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Has anyone used a hotel in New Delhi (Indra Gandhi) airport while in transit? How was your experience? Are you stuck to the confines of the hotel or can you leave the premises?
