I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Uber app said he was 8 min away and he said oh just be patient I'm 35 min away (he was hoping I would cancel). I then told him I would wait (calling his bluff). He then calls back again to say he's having an issue with the app and so I should cancel. I told him that I wasn't cancelling bc I thought he was FOS.

Go to Trip Details and the cancelled trip should show up and you should be able to report a problem. Mine show up there with options to report things even two months later
I always text them and say "im on the phone, I'll see you outside" and then if I have any problems I report them

Do Lyft instead? Had that happen to me at SAN, guy was gonna take like 30 minutes. Cancelled and called a Lyft, he arrived in like 5.
Good idea EY1. I downloaded the app but haven't tried them yet. This is as good a reason as any.
Yep. Only downside is no SPG crossover points. Other than that the experience has always been just as good for me, plus you can tip in the app.
I'm also annoyed I can't find a way to complain about the driver who cancelled my trip. Can only seem to provide feedback on the guy that showed up.
I report each and everyone of them and get a credit of $5 each time. No joke. I always threaten to do Lyft instead and they give me a credit.
EY1 only the trips that happened show up for me. I can't seem to get into a trip detail for a canceled trip. There's no record of it. I don't want to ding the guy who picked me up just to complain about the previous guy.
Def dealt with this before. It's BS. Legit drivers won't ask for destination. Are you just going to South Bay or Venice?
