I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.
YOE: 2 years

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

AHHHHHHH! Thank you for sharing IBM. Yeah, honestly, when I realized this, I thought to myself about how I could be at a nonprofit and wouldn't get any bonus, but now that I think about it. I put up with emails about shiny green dots. That should get me at least an extra $700.
I'll find out in August, but probably. I want to scatter plots to 1. Die or 2. Have a mechanism built in so that this is not based off of just your manager's opinion of you, especially when many managers are spread thin and can't actually judge you well.

I got $700 pretax at ACN my first year. I was quite insulted that I wanted to give it back to ACN. Don't want no pity bonus.

What can you do
How is this possible? Aren't you guaranteed at least 6% assuming you have a 3? And by the time you're bonus eligible you have to be a C, so definitely making at least 75k
Based off of the numbers in my employment contract, it is possible and it is likely. I'm very underpaid and since things here are so freaking opaque, I can't figure out what to do about it
EY5- I know. I have hinted that I would do that if they don't at least promote me and give me the salary that matches what I have done for the company and what I am worth. Sadly, I don't want to go though. I really like it here, but come on, this is kind of going too far in my opinion.
