Ugh 😣 I’m sure a lot of you have to deal with Execs that think they are never wrong or make mistakes. Diva Execs! They always find something wrong and I’m one of those to stand up for myself but I guess I have to be careful because I still need my job. Late 50’s so nobody else will hire me especially in this horrible job market. I’m posting on Sunday eve so back to it tomorrow 🤬

Sadly I've always worked for execs who love working the blame culture. Nothing is ever their mistake, and they constantly move goal posts. It's exhausting. I smile sweetly and respond with "yes, of course, I'll change that, move this etc". Then go in to a room to vent all by myself!

The Sunday evening dread is horrible. I do feel for you, and hope you can make it work for you. The job market is incredibly tough.

I just assumed most executives were kind of diva -ish. Yeah you have to know when to pick your battles. Particularly in this job market.

Oh you know it! Everything is always someone else's fault. The sad thing is this is still one of the better bosses I've ever had, which is really saying something. Guess I'm better off here than being unemployed though, you're not kidding about this job market. I've been submitting applications here and there just to see and have not gotten a single interview.

Oh excellent that you have a good boss. It makes a huge difference. Mine is not bad either and the diva personality doesn’t come out all the time, 😮‍💨 My last phone interview about 2 years ago the interviewer was trying so hard to figure out my age, that’s what I’ll be dealing with

I’ve only ever worked with great people, until now and it’s really getting me down to be honest.

I feel you and if you are thinking in leaving your role, best of luck and I hope you find quickly the best fit for you

Personal perference, i will not point out straight away they are wrong. but will do my job first and find a right timing to tell them that and put them back into their place.

My boss won’t stop sexually harassing me. Verbally, email, texts - 400+. He even set up his office with a display of sex toys and edibles condiments to show me that he planned to give me oral sex. All started 3 weeks into the job. I moved my family cross country for this job and just bought a house. He promises me none of his requests or my responses will affect my job and is just begging now to be friends with me. Tell me what would you do if you were me.
