Pray and leave it with the Lord
Show up chin up & be proud. Collect what’s yours. Mind over matter. Do not allow this person to take from you. You’ll be far more stressed with that debt and the thought “only if”. The job market is tough and positions are not pay what they were. I like to take that type of person/situation as a challenge - if you were there when your boss got there, more than likely you’ll be there when the boss leaves. Do your job well, document and collect receipts, just in case. If it gets too bad take a short leave to preserve your mental health. If you see no way out then start looking now, but do NOT leave before your bonus. If they decide to terminate you before then and you lose the bonus, then get them for a hefty severance. You have options, just be strategic. If warranted, time it just right to file a complaint with HR. The bully will think twice before retaliating.
I say start your job search now that way in 3 months you may find a new job and I would definitely stay to get that bonus. It definitely seems like you've earned it. Take the money and RUN!
Imagine not having a job and wondering how your going to pay all your bills with two kids at home . Be grateful for what you have.
Omg? People make so much money I can’t imagine a 25,000 bonus
Yeah, same here!
You know I had a similar issue except I loved my job but my boss didn't like me. It made things really tough. I couldn't sleep I started getting bald spots on my head from stress as he threatened my job at least 3 times a week. He finally let me go for a minor reason. Moral is if you hate your job or love it at the end of the day if your boss and you can't see eye to eye start looking for a job now because eventually you'll quit or get fired and be without a job. So prepare ahead and don't give him a reason

Do you work at Everett? (BOEING FIELD?)
Be careful, sometimes companies try to make you pay back a prorated amount if you leave shortly after you get the funds.
Embrace the pain, bruh. It's 25k.
Don't let you're superior play you against any payment or bonuses! Stick to your contract! Just because ypu have a short term to run it doesn't change your contractual agreement! Be smart.
No superiors there
My boss is absolutely terrible. She started from the bottom most rank and got shoved into a manager position and it went straight to her head. Before she was offered the position I ran the store by myself without the proper training for months. When she came into my store she tried changing everything. Now don’t get me wrong if she was trying to do something that would better our store and our team I would have been all for it. Instead she was fighting with me when all I was trying to do was help her. She made things super confusing for our employees. Took everything we had there originally for lists to help everyone stay on task and do things appropriately and just threw the entire store down the drain. She’s an absolutely nasty person inside and out. Super manipulative, 2 faced, shallow, and self centered. Everything she does is only to benefit herself. She hated me so much (I have a feeling it was because she saw me as competition because our employees respected me more than herself) that she came up with lies and had our big boss demote me. I was only making 17.25 before with tons of stress and then went down to 15.25. The company is in shambles. Peoples paychecks bounce, they can’t pay to fix things in our store we need to have to pass inspection, took us off direct deposit because they couldn’t pay for it, took away our discounts, made us work in a store that got 102 degrees in the summer time because they couldn’t afford to close the store (I’m not kidding) on top of treating everyone like crap. And NEVER giving anyone the proper training they need. As of now she is giving me 10 hours a week this week. I went from working 50’s to 10’s, barely being able to survive, because my boss mistook me for competition instead of working with me and communicating. Moral of the story, (I apologize this was LONG) DO NOT let people walk all over you. Set boundaries from the get go. If it’s not on the paperwork you signed when you started this job or position you are not obligated to do it. Once you allow them to force you into things, they have the power and will continue to make you do these things you don’t want to do. I know it may be hard because you don’t want your boss to think you’re a bad worker or bad person or any other horrible thought that may pop into your head. It is not that deep. Ever. You can always be replaced. And if your boss really is that terrible, they definitely don’t care that much about you. And neither should you. Stay and get that bonus and get OUT. You now have time to find something you’ll really enjoy before you leave this job. You shouldn’t live your life miserable trying to impress people. Be happy! Find that job you’ve been wanting, be surrounded by people you enjoy and push you to do better. I KNOW YOU CAN!!! Good luck :)
I hope you’re looking for a new job.
25,000 bonus? I made 34,000 all year working 48 hours a week.
Take Gaba and adhwaganda and L-theanine
This weill help woth anciety and depresion
Let go, Let God! But if the bonus is a “for sure” thing, collect your bonus and move on.
Start looking for a new position now. Your job search might take 3 months. If you find a new job right away negotiate your start date until after you receive your bonus. Make sure your bonus clears the bank, then walk.
There are no garauntees you'll reach that $25k moment (meaning they can just let you go just to string you along). So what I would do is stick with it to see if you can reach that 3 month milestone while looking for a new job as replacement transition (not before that 3rd month) and start your timeclock, because depending on your current employer, they might have just dangled that carrot to keep you hustling your work and at the last moment "sorry, things aren't working out and receive a pink slip" the day before that mark so they don't have to honor that $25k. I know that $25 seems like alot the moment you need it, but set in your mind that it's not needed, because if for some reason it falls through, it won't be a big surprise. I pray you get both (the bonus and the new job on time 🙏.
Stay, then kick the dust of that place off your boots.
Sounds to me like your in the beginning stages of a career that you found worth pursuing, weather it for the love of the job or for the 25k . You need to think this through and get passed the struggle either way , you need to change your mindset ,that 25k will help pay your debt but then what , start another job that you may hate more ? The faster you learn to give it your all the sooner you can receive all it has to offer .
25k is a pretty bonus, get that bag and get out of there
Take the bonus and quit the next day
Stay until the 3 months are up, and keep applying for jobs. Hopefully you can swing a start date at the end of the 3 months.
