Where are you located? But just answer is yes. Ask for more unless you live on a remote island
In general I always advocate for people to negotiate an offer, but make sure you go in prepared to back your ask up.
Research average salary ranges for similar roles in your area and highlight the measurable contributions you have made in your previous roles to show you are worth more than their initial offer.
It can also be helpful to know the cost of living, average number of hours you will be working per week, etc., but that usually has less power in negotiations than the factors listed above.
Best of luck!
The answer will automatically be "no" if you never ask. Depending on your area & their range companies usually make their first offer the least offer. They'll respect you when you negotiate.
Location? Do you have direct reports? What positions have you held before? Lot details missing here but if you are in a major city or even a medium sized you should ask for more
Depending where you are the average is 50-80k but there’s many favorites that attribute to this.
Okay thanks thats exactly am planning for.
