You are permitted one conversation with Talent Acquisition (recruiting) at another Publicis agency to learn more about the role. If you decide to interview then yes, you are required to notify your current Manager and HR at your current agency. The preference is to pursue one opportunity at any time; honesty is the best policy so let Talent Acquisition know which agencies in the network you are speaking/interviewing with up front
That is correct
My friend did not do that. In case they didnt get an offer.
Publicis tends to support switching within sister agencies better than other holding companies assuming you are a rockstar. HR told me they would rather keep the talent rather than see them go. Go for it if you think it could be a good move for you. Good luck!
This is bunk. Same thing happened within Dentsu. I applied through a friend and they said before they would interview me they had to tell my director that I was interviewing. Ridiculous. You think they would want to keep people, if not at the company, at least in the network.
@DS1 I totally agree! I’m going to have to jump ship out of network I guess. I’m not in a situation where I want to be “exposed” (for a lack of a better term)
nah. was at publicis and interviewed at leo. nobody said a word.
