Would you go from a corp dev and strategy role in industry into MBB? Why or why not? My brother was at a Tier2 before his current role. He wants to pursue MBB to get the brand and because he thinks his growth is slowing, both in compensation and opportunity relative to consulting. Pay will be about the same assuming he gets a post MBA role. He has better hours now. Management likes him. I don't think it makes sense but he won't listen to me. Help me convince/tell me I'm wrong please?

Exit options/Capital Markets: Are in-house exit options for CM attorney meaningfully better at firms that do more issuer side work? Considering leaving my v10 underwriter side heavy firm to go to a place that does more issuer side, probably somewhere like Wilson Sonsini or Fenwick. Thoughts on whether this would improve exit options?
Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn about a position I’m very interested in, asked about times I was free and mentioned we should connect early this week. I haven’t heard from her since I gave her availability on Friday, should I reach out again to stay on her radar or give it some more time? Would normally reach out, but don’t want to be pushy in covid times..
H1B Folks: DHS is yet again trying to pass a new regulation for H1B folks in consulting firms. One of the key points appears be that some Batshit crazy proposal of the end client needing to apply for a work permit on behalf of the consultant. Unclear yet what the complete rules are. We'll find out more. On a Friday night, 3 business days before losing his job, Stephen Miller won't give up.

I had very positive feedback on my interviews for a S&O role but the team hired someone internally. If I interview again for a differenr role, would I have to do all the interviews again or can I use some of the scores from previous interviews. I understand doing RRK again makes sense but what about GCA, googlyness or leadership . Thank you
Partner on my project came in as I was working and asked me if he could help me in any way. I responded, "nah, the work I'm doing is probably above your pay grade" #mondayjokes #helaughed

Anyone else feel completely unappreciated by their firm? At my firm, Skadden, people rarely say thank you to junior associates (even after pulling repeated all-nighters or after signing/closing significant transactions). The firm messaging rarely seems to show appreciation for associates’ efforts, and the firm never sends tokens of appreciation for hard work (small gifts, sending $$ for a good home setup (outside of tech), or paying a fall appreciation bonus), which I hear other firms have done.
