We need to talk about the toxic culture of Presenteeism in healthcare where working through a literal migraine or injury is viewed as a badge of honor. I’ve watched coworkers limp through a 12-hour shift with a boot on or squint through a migraine because calling out means letting the team down. We are supposed to be experts in health and wellness, yet we treat our own bodies like disposable machinery. Why do we celebrate self-destruction?

My supervisor gave me 8hours of AWOL because I couldn't show up one day because I was under anxiety. I have gave him letters from psychiatrist,psychologist that I'm passing through this. He didn't care and gave me an AWOL. I want to leave my job because my department is very toxic but I don't want to leave having that on my records.
If I move to another job later on (private or federal) this 8 hours of AWOL will show up?
