Clarendon Hills or Hinsdale
Wilmette. Where BCG partners move eventually.
Close enough to ohare would be good, would like to stay around 1.2-1.5m
And a nice downtown with a train walking distance would be great if possible
Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Winnetka, Glencoe
Thanks. Looked at these burbs, but you can’t get much walking to the train for my price range. Or there’s just nothing for sale. And I don’t have the patience to custom build. Any other thoughts?
Lagrange. Westmont. Downers Grove
Glen Ellyn or Downers Grove
River Forest!
To add, I am walking distance to Metra and the Green Line (though the latter is a haul, would Uber). I am also right near the Trailside Museum, which is a great mini zoo and natural history museum for kids. River Forest has great schools. It definitely feels like a quiet suburb despite being so close to the city. There is a great brewery within walking distance (Exit Strategy). Only thing I'm in want of is a public pool.
Anyone like northbrook?
Thrilmette. Just make sure to stay on the east side of the tracks.
