What will be the in-hand salary

Who’s in nyc an wants to go sledding right now
Anyone from VMware.urgent please
I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

None
- Some places the culture is a bit more tight-knit
- small regional pockets where pay may be slightly better in early years - think all of these companies are surpassed by MBB pay on Manager and up virtually anywhere in the world though
- strong challenger spirit and opportunity to (re)-build a brand instead of inheriting something already T1
- less stringent up or out (good for some, bad for others)… Most people leave anyway, if they are “stuck” in a level but direct out-counseling is more rare
- Quicker decision pathways on new initiatives, value propositions, restructuring of services, etc, due to smaller practices
For most people the points above will not balance out the prestige deficit compared to MBB. You either end up there because you value points above, have a personal relation to the company and people working there or struck out in MBB interviews (or received an exploding offer and cancelled your MBB interviews for risk mitigation). And I think S&, EYP & ACN might on average have better hours than the other companies discussed here.
@p1 what would you say are the main benefits of the intimacy at Kearney? Am in the final interview and curious to hear your perspective.

One is not like the other
I prefer EYP rn because less travel and more CDD work (good if you want to exit to VC which is my main goal later )
Pro
Some T2 have a more niches focus than the mbb counterparts. Like lek and life sciences. But overall your work same hours for similar pay but less “prestige”
Easier to feel like you’re a big fish in a small pond at some of these
Having a life
Maybe not for you but at ACN Strategy I have a life, definitely worth it for me. No desire to be at MBB.
As others have said, there might be very specific niche areas where some T2s win out over MBB. Or geographies. Like Roland Berger ~= MBB in Germany.
Probably the only market where RB is a T2.
