What are the salary ranges like in the Las Vegas, Nevada area? Can you make big money with good work life balance?

I work in deals and am frankly frustrated that those with 9-5s can get better GMAT scores with their schedules while I have to work around an unpredictable schedule at 80 hrs/week.

Considering a move to UAE and Inhave to major questions:
- How is the SC work life balance?
- I am coming from Europe, is there a big cultural shock?

Hi fishes good morning. I joined CapG on 26th may 2021 as a Associate consultant.  Till this date i got appraisal as well as promotion also.
But this is not sufficient  for a 5 year experience Data Engineer. So i resigned on 12 th june 2022. My current CTC is 9 lpa and i asked them 15lpa for retain. Everything is fine from my Capgemini manager and client manager. Only i am expecting HR Call and that will happen next week as my manager said. Any suggestion what will be next CTC ? Thanks All

Got a temp offer for less than a year without promise of turning into full-time. Wanted to know what ppl think about temp jobs (looks bad on resume if I don't turn full-time later within the company?) and what comp should look like (e.g. 1.2× of regular comp?).

Transactional associate. Lateraled 6 months ago and one of the biggest pain points has been my new firm’s inclination to “hop on a call”, which of course requires every single stakeholder to join. The end result being every call has 25 people on it and nothing actually gets done because no one wants to ask a question that could come off as silly. Currently in the final stages of the interviewing process for a "non-partnership track attorney" position at a top-ranked big law firm. I graduated from law school in 2019, and my eventual goal would be to work as an Associate on the partnership track at a medium-sized firm. Will this position "stain" my resume compared to staying in my current position as an attorney for an SRO?
