I’ve been trying to get into the top tier Associate Product Marketing Manager position Google for some time now for just an interview and I feel like business majors somehow have such a stronger chance in getting interviewed especially my business school and I feel really discouraged as an Econ Major and I have a lot of marketing experience that I’ve built over the years. Are there any non-business majors in the tech realm in non technical positions at Google that can advise me?

Hello Fishes, Our project management asked us to return the assets by Oct 1st. They are forcing us to pick any upcoming Saturday's to return the assets, that to we need to report the office by 10 am to return the system. Does this "return to pick up" option in Ultimatix still works or we need to go to office only to return the system.? Tata Consultancy

Depends a lot on the employer. Those certificates, I think, are a great way to show you want to stay up to date or are willing to learn. However, if the role you are applying for asks for more formal certificates, that might be the way to go.
I have been taking some courses on Udemy to upskill. I think certs are great but I don't know if they really do anything to help job wise. I do think they help keep a person sharp though.

I’ve heard of Udemy but have never interacted with it. Do they provide something similar to LinkedinLearning, or is it more formal?
I have decided to become sort of a “super user” on one of the softwares we use. Attending webinars and are up to date with the current changes etc and that’s done wonders for how I’m viewed now!
