Got a GRE score of 320 (162V 158Q). Did my masters from A&M (full scholarship, 3.8 GPA, journal publications. Have been working as a consultant for a small tech consulting firm for the past 1 year and was considering a MBA + Law or Public Policy masters dual degree program. My scores are still valid for atleast 1 year. Aiming for M7 or Oxbridge in Europe. Would using this GRE score be realistic for the school given I've just 1 YOE and my quant was lower. I’m a non-TX immigration attorney mentoring a UT student who went to my undergrad. He’s done incredibly well in OCI and pre-OCI. Thus far, he’s landed interviews with (all in Houston): Baker Botts, Sidley Austin, Kirkland, Winston Strawn, Reed Smith, Norton Rose, and Locke Lord. Also Perkins Coie in Dallas. He’s leaning transactional, but also open to litigation. Any insights/advice on these firms in the TX market? Any to avoid?
