Denver culture (and suburb areas): interested to know how easy is it to make friends here. Both husband and I are late-30s, early 40s with a kid going into middle school. I’ve got a great friend group where we live now, but looking for simpler and cheaper way of life but dreading not being able to make friends.

This is a question about friendships. Two friends got into a really bad fight this past weekend. They have each asked me to hang out this weekend. What do I do? I don’t want to have to choose sides. One is a friend I’ve known a little longer and has been a good friend and so she would feel betrayed and angry if she knew I were still friends with her now-enemy. The other I’ve known less longer, but we seem more compatible. Advice??

I got an email last night from a 7th-grade parent because her son said I mentioned the words "male privilege" in class, and she is very concerned about how that is related to ELA (she said "reading"), and she is concerned about this being taught in public schools. If I resign from EXL in mid of Dec 22. Will I still be getting the Annual Bonus (for 2022) which will be paid in March 23 and is some percentage of fixed CTC.

I was on a partner/manager call today and they were discussing the “high” turnover at the senior and experienced associate level. What was shocking is that while ours is about double normal, evidently we are 3 out of 4 in turnover meaning 2 of the Big 4 are even higher.

So not surprised I couldn’t process their drink-I don’t consume stuff like that regularly. I walk a mile or do HIIT training 5x/ week.
