I have heard really good things about huntr.co but I haven't checked it out yet. apparently it will also allow you to check your resume against the job description so you can make sure that you're well set up for that particular role. Not sure how much it costs (if anything)
Thanks, I’ll check it out!
When it comes to ATS software, tools like Jobscan (free version available) or Resumake are great for optimizing your resume. I’ve noticed fluctuations in scores between Resume Worded and Cultivated Culture, as each tool has its own way of assessing content.
If you'd like a free review of your resume or help with revamping it, please send your resume to recruiting.us.org@gmail.com.
I actually didn't use ATS software to write my resume, I used Chat GPT. I had been applying for jobs for over 6 months and not having much luck so I used Chat GPT to redo my resume and BAM I started getting calls for interviews and landed a new role.
I was helping a junior dev friend build a CV and we tested out a bunch of tools. Most of them either charge or don’t support dev-specific sections like projects, GitHub links, or tech stack.
Cviya (https://cviya.com) was actually great for that. Clean UI, lets you customize a lot, and it doesn’t charge for download or templates.
If you're into dev stuff and want something free but not ugly, it’s worth a look. Bonus: no sign-up required.
