I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. Recently, a month back I made a switch to a product based company/startup. For a month, I was getting to know their one of the product having tech stack as Java & Aws. Now after a month, I am being put in a new product completely based on golang & temporal.
