~$850K, 48 years old, plan to find work as a contractor / move to a LCOL area
$700K, 50 years old, planning to go part time/freelance or stop working altogether after there is a Covid vaccine. My partner pays half the bills and I have 2 rental income properties. Reason I don't stop working now is because there isn't much to do now except work from home.
Damn, jealous of the people with the big cash.
I'm 60, about 300k. Already moved to a lower COL and bought property with a reasonable mortgage. Budgeting now for what the world looks like if I don't bounce back from a covid layoff at my age.
Had over a mil, ran into tax/real estate disasters. Now down to 400. Gonna work til they pry the laptop out of my cold, dead hands, I guess!
46, $1.2M. Rise up the company or go client side. This is probably my last agency gig.
$900K, 53 years old, looking to work another 5 years FT. My life partner doesn’t need me to work but after 23yrs in production I can’t imagine doing nothing and like the independence of making my own money..
49. Around 800k. Partner has more. Plan on working into my 60s and tapering off to freelance when I’m no longer employable.
52, about $250k and I will not get to retire.
52. My wife and I have $1M+ in 401Ks together but have been told by our financial advisor we should plan to keep working until at least 65. And we live pretty cheaply so that’s depressing.
Same
47, $1M in retirement accounts and have 2 real estate investments. Always feel behind for some reason.
43, about $140,000.
