What does training automation look like at your companies?

Automation came to the company in the form of a self learning instructional tablet. Those that were used to using computers found it easy and quick to learn the ascribed training, but overall they were still on need for the personal one-and-one answering questions maybe giving more in-depth explanation that the automated system could not.

What are you considering when assigning cases to firms in the defense panel. I’m a 2nd year associate at a national ID firm (~300 attorneys) and want to create rapport with claim managers I’m currently working with. Any advice?

Alternatively, is there something that will cause you not to assign cases to particular firm?

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Looking for advice…I have been told that transitioning into L&D should be “easy” given by experience and skills (20+ years in education as a teacher, counselor, district administrator, higher ed. program Director, Academic Affairs Assoc. Dean plus part-time instructional designer). I have an EdD in Leadership (School-system) and an MA in Counseling Psychology.

I have applied for various position levels from specialist to Director with no luck. Any ideas for what level I should be applying for?
