We have two open media planner positions in Durham, NC that we’re actively interviewing for. Our client needs are heavily digital and social. That said, we don’t separate media, analytics, programmatic and adOps responsibilities, our media team is responsible for it all from ideation through optimization. We have high expectations for ourselves, but also have a great support system in place that emphasizes development at all levels. If you’re excited by this type of a role, shoot me a note. Hello Fishes, Our project management asked us to return the assets by Oct 1st. They are forcing us to pick any upcoming Saturday's to return the assets, that to we need to report the office by 10 am to return the system. Does this "return to pick up" option in Ultimatix still works or we need to go to office only to return the system.? Tata Consultancy

PM is like glorified baby sitting most days. SMH

Tough spot. At a high-level, PMs need to ensure the project runs well, which usually means meetings need to occur and run well. If the most senior person on the account has an EA, perhaps they can help scheduling, especially when external parties are involved and you can't see there calendars.
I have various PM overview presentations that I share with stakeholders - ideally at the beginning of an engagement. One of the slides contains PMs are vs PMs are not. Meetings and Notes are on the "not" slide.
Complicates matters when the PM is the most junior person in the room or on the team.
It needs to come from the department head of PM. We definitely only schedule meetings relevant to the project. Account management and mostly the AE is responsible for scheduling everything else.
We have been trying to get the head of our department to make a decision on this type of thing since February! Depending on the PMs background, we all have different opinions.
I have no idea why it’s assumed but I agree it sucks
One thing you could try is assigning a note taker for the actual meeting like a junior or something, or bring in someone outside the team that can just scribe. That approach has helped me when I have to actively direct the meeting and/or conversations
