What does your out of office email say when you’ll be away from your computer and only sporadically checking email over a long weekend?

Yeah it's a little circumstance dependent - is there a deal I expect to be weekend busy i got coverage on? - but in general same day-ish weekend email response is sufficient so i don't worry.

I don’t. But that’s consistent with our firm culture and expectations. For OOOs, I keep it short and to the point.

“I’m traveling Oct 7-10 with family. I’ll be reviewing emails in the evenings as Wi-Fi allows. If something requires immediate attention, contact (junior’s name/paralegal/whatever makes sense) at blah blah blah.”

Depends - long weekend when I'm off, I say I'm out of the office until X, will be checking emails (if I feel like it). It it's a public holiday, I will say that in the OOO. I would rather manage expectations than just leave no OOO even if I am checking emails.

Hi All
Am looking for job change in recruitment. I have 9.4yrs of experience in IT RECRUITMENT and in Talent acquisition,I have 3yrs of experience. Kindly refer me

If I’m getting dragged heavily for my performance and am completely overloaded with work, is it best to start looking for another job? I suspect I might get PIP’d this summer unless our abysmal staffing issues prevent that.

How do you buy back time?

It's simple—by saving and investing.

And you don't need to be uber wealthy to regain control of your time.

I’m in the biglaw hiring process through an outside recruiter. It’s so frustrating because he’s having these conversations with the firm and only paraphrasing the gist of them to me. He says he can’t forward the exact emails. Is that BS? Why can’t I see what the firm is telling my recruiter?
