Anyone have any similar experience or insight? My boyfriend asked for space/not really together anymore and he says he started to become nervous about being in a long term committed relationship. Even tho he said he saw me as long term & I’m his best friend and he loves me but why then? Does space help you guys figure it out? (Help / advice please😞)

Breakup etiquette- we broke up and I was supposed to go to his relatives’s wedding in a couple of weeks. I know the couple, not super well, but have hung out and texted individually as well. Should I let them know I won’t be attending and wish them well or don’t reach out to them?

DO YOU JUST ASSUME THE COST OF YOUR MARKETING ACTIVITIES? I am looking to allocate their cost in the marketing budget in a way that won't rely on several layers of assumptions. How do you reliably estimate the cost of different marketing activities (email, social, web, etc) when you don't have specific people or tools allocated to each function and costs are spread across many channels? Ads seems the easiest, but even then there's time and overheads... I've been looking for a reliable model.

Got a verbal confirmation for an offer from recruiter. Now she is negotiating my pay with the compensation team instead of me. I thought I had to do the negotiations with that team? This is for a L3 role at google canada. To the fellow googlers, is this normal practice or am I being lowballed here?

I have got an offer of CTC 23.25LPA +JB +RSU in Blore. And I have also got an international offer of CTC € 70000 + relocation sponsorship in a mid sized firm in Vienna, Austria.

My wife works with a CTC of 15LPA in Blore.

I am in dilemma about the option that is most suitable for me as my wife would have to quit her current job and relocate and then find another job. Is it a profitable deal to relocate to Austria?

Kindly post your opinions.

Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? Right now I am at 25 lakhs with 8.3 years of experience.

Any nurses here not have hospital experience? I work as a community nurse and have previous experience in an assisted living and clinic. I don’t have much interest in going to the hospital. Perspective. I’m retiring from the service and I’ve positioned myself decently to be competitive. I have a graduate degree pursuing a doctorate, LSSBB, ScrumMaster, SPHR, and PMI-ACP. For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.

Vets using Tricare with a family. I’m out and can use Tricare with the VA, but my wife and I each use our company offerings for our family; which obviously come at cost. Is it worth it to switch to Tricare? Has anyone done this and can share details? Positives/negatives?

I pivoted into tech two years ago. I'm making good but not great money.

Anyone else in that same situation constantly consider going into the reserve or national guard?

It's like a weekly thing in my head.

On the one hand: more money and better medical, small pension @ 60, TA, etc.

On the other hand: it's the reserve.

Decisions, decisions.
