Honestly, after years in the Big 4 grind, I’ve come to realize that a “good life” isn’t just about hitting those mid-seven-figure numbers or constantly chasing the next big deal. Sure, the industry pushes you to keep running, but true peace of mind comes from setting boundaries-making time for family, nurturing relationships, and being present outside of work. I
I learned early in my career to not define my success with a job. My success is defined by family, experiences and a well lived life. Career is a means to fund that but it’s never the end.
It’s all about close relationships, loved ones, and community.
Being impactful with those that are close to you and sharing in the joys of life with your community (weddings, babies, career achievements, etc) are all part of the well-lived life
there’s always more toys to buy. always the better Rarri, Rollie. always better exotic hotels and vacays. always better first class experiences or private jet flying. always more exclusive clubs where the plebes stay away. and if really successful, then a decent sized boat docked at the nicest places for summer/winter.
