What is Arthur D Little? Recruiter reached out for a role. Google says it's oldest firm founded in 1800s, but seems like a really small firm. Glassdoor salaries are also good. Anyone heard about them?

Apparently they are growing business in US again. Wondering if it makes sense for me to move from a big4?

like

They were big in Germany in the 2000s. Really lost relevance since then and haven't heard the name in a few years.

Wouldn't say it's a small firm in any way (not as big as MBB obv). They're more localized now after the recent trouble they've been though and have solid presence e.g in the Middle East and the nordics so I'd say your mileage will vary based on location.

Additional Posts in Consulting

Hi all,
I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?
