Inflation has made salaries topsy turvy. New hires are getting paid more then some of their managers since that’s the going market rate. Managers will likely get raises next year and a decent bonus to correct this but it’s a Wild West right now.
Makes sense. Any general sense on the current range for VP and ED?
80-90k
No way. This is clearly false.
It varies wildly, and it depends on LOB, location, and role. A VP in certain roles could have a lower TC than an analyst in another role.
I’m not answering that for a few reasons.
1. It’s a wildly unhelpful question without context. Again it depends on ROLE, LOB, and location. Two people could be in the same city and same LOB. If one works in HR and the other is a banker, they could both be VPs but have a salary gap of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
2. Idk the answer. There’s not just like a whole bunch of salary data lying around the office. It’s hundreds of thousands of dollars, but idk beyond that.
