If they had told me how much of my job would just be emailing and circling back and emailing and following up and pitching and emailing, I probably would have reconsidered. I love my job, but sometimes it feels like I live in my inbox.

The blurred lines between work and personal life is a good one. I was not prepared for how truly mentally exhausting the job can be. I knew it would be stressful, but I thought the periods of downtime would balance it out. I was so, so wrong.
True! Working at an agency, you're either drowning in work, or you're stressed out because you're NOT drowning in work but petrified about not being billable enough.

What serving clients is really like. I swear sometimes half of my job is doing random tasks that our clients request that have nothing to do with our work.
