Do any of your schools have was to honor/memorialize students who you have lost to violence or accidents or disease?

I have an EBD student on my caseload who just phys assaulted a student today (they have a history). Student is being out of school suspended all next week. Any advice on alt. ways to handle this?

Our staff just finished a book study on this book. It really helps you to understand the impact of trauma on the human brain. It also gives strategies to use in your class.
