Accepted an offer and my start date is mid October. I asked about background check results and if they were going to send me an email once everything was cleared. I was told they don’t do that. How am I supposed when to put my 2 weeks notice ? I wanted to take some time off between jobs but I want to have everything cleared before doing so.

Has anyone living in Jersey city used a pediatrician in NYC? 

The facility and individual practitioner reviews seem far superior to the ones in Jersey city. Also not a car owner, so will have to uber to either place. Going to NYC involves tunnel which might be a disadvantage.

Some teachers in district request to have period 1 conference so they can drop their kids off at their schools. Wait? Shouldn’t they be in their room doing their teacher job? Come on there has to be something they could be doing during their conference.... I’ve complained about this before and was I formed it’s whatever the principal wants to do or accept. I was given a salary range of 95k-100k for a mulit billion dollar company. Senior financial analyst. Is it unreasonable to ask for 110k or 105k if an offer gets extended? Since its late in the year, they said i wont get a bonus or merit increase this next year, could i use this as reasoning behind more money?

Looking at jobs, there a potential for a treasury analyst and fp&a analyst both at senior levels. Ive been trying to stay in fp&a and move up to management. If i dont get fp&a and get the treasury, would that interview with my path to becoming a finance manager? I figured since i have fp&a experience, treasury could give me better picture as a whole to make it to management.
