What is the Consulting structure at EY? Currently at Deloitte and the structure is as follows:
Analyst (graduate)
Consultant
Senior Consultant
Manager
Senior Manager
Director etc

I’m looking at Glassdoor and all the salary bands for EY look a step below what they are for Deloitte, so was wondering if there may be a misalignment in grades.

It looks as though Consultant pay at Deloitte aligns to Senior Consultant pay at EY, Analyst pay at Deloitte aligns to Consultant pay at EY etc

I am going to work in public accounting and I feel like when I look up how much I will make after being promoted or early promoted it’s very cryptic. Ive accepted an offer going from a SM role to M role at EY in the CCas team , London office. Can anyone confirm how often one needs to come into the office, as my commute is from Hampshire . In my current role I rarely go to the office, i.e once every few months (also in London) and am considering backing out due to the additional commuting cost and less flexible work life balance.

Hey, I received a verbal offer from EY for a role as manager, which was quite a low ball offer. I had received another offer from a different firm and I informed EY HR about it. I was told yesterday that they have an updated offer for me, scheduled the call twice with me but didn't actually call and told me she got occupied in other meetings. I have not got a response from her yet on the mails, should I contact the hiring partner directly? other firm is asking me to update as well.

Received the offer from EY for M role, on call and email on Wednesday and also received a mail from the partner about it. Told them I will be accepting the offer. Had another offer & already received their contract , now I don't want to say no to the other firm before I sign the contract with EY. Which I am being told will only be ready next week. What is your experience after getting a confirmation on mail, how long could it take ?
