For people whose immigration situation is not clear, is it better to invest is ordinary 401 K plan or Roth or none?

How difficult is it to get a job in a language you don't have experience in? I have 7 years of experience in PHP and the job market doesn't seem to have a lot of openings. Lots of Python and Java though. I've applied to a number of these roles and haven't even gotten a phone screen.

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

When I compare two Word docs with comment bubbles in order to generate a PDF redline...all of the Word comment bubbles show up in tiny, unreadable margins. It looks like the program doesn’t adjust the margins when comparing, I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I don’t think that most people they find in the lake went in it willingly. Water makes it too easy to cover up murders. Washes away evidence. But it’s dismissed because most people they found had also been drinking. But people just disappearing miles away from the Lake don’t just fall in it. Yes, suicide happens. But many of these cases show zero signs of anything like that. The constant MO is being out with friends having fun. The friend vanishes. Then is found in the lake weeks later.
