how can someone fake their experience? I mean every company do background verification right

It's true but. I have friend who came from Australia after his visa got over. Put 4yrs fake exp and got 10lpa job. He couldn't survive has he had zero knowledge and he is not willing to learn. He resigned recently.
Irony is he is soo much confident that he will get a job in a month.
He did so, got a contract Job in TCS and before going to job he called me to search telegram and find him a proxy to do his job. ☺☺
I asked himself to find. Probably he will find as there are many people to do it.

It may be 1 among 1000. Dont generalized it. And if you have 5 YOE then you should know that no one can survive in IT more than 3 month with fake exp and proxy interview. I dont think IT is such easy ..

If you don't know then it doesn't mean it doesn't happens. You might have never come across these people till now. There are more people joining with fake experience because of work from home option & it's definitely not 1 in 1000 now a days. These people get the work done from freelancers. Most survive but some don't.

I don't get the point, how anyone else getting a job/interview is affecting you and your salary?
Proxy = more people willing to join at lower pay. It'll affect each of us.
One of my south Indian colleague did this. He faked his 5 years exp in java and he can not even write simple code. Whenever he get any task in sprint he gets nervous and ask the things to me, I did help him sometime but even I dont have much time to help everyone. Now he is having very bad days in company because of his performance. So eventually these people dont do much even though they have faked about their experiences. So dont focus on them, as you said you are hard working then one day your hard work will pay off. Focus on your life.

These people can clear any kind of background checks. If a person has work experience companies don't ask for technical degree. They get fake experience from a legally registered company & it is very difficult to find out.
No one can fake experience that is what i feel and background check is not lenient as you think, i too am facing 90 days np issue 😕.

Just look around there are so many companies offering fake experience.
Even if proxy Interview is given, Company can simply Lay you off if they don't get what you were supposed to offer (unless the hiring was under Diversity inclusion, please don't mind but it is the sad truth of Indian IT companies) .... So just focus on your skills and have a competitive edge over other candidates

The candidate itself is different when giving a proxy. They'll target midsize companies where the recruiter is not taking the I'd proof while interviewing.

I have also faced 90 days NP in 2 companies. Honestly they'll find one organization that will wait. If not and they can take the risk of resigning without offer, they can go for it. Also if they don't get an offer they can always take the resignation back. But since they are deserving and the only roadblock is 90 days NP, I'm sure they'll get multiple good offers, which can be used to negotiate a great package.
Eventually What goes around comes around. Keep the faith and keep working hard!
