I'm trying to grow an avocado plant from seed and it seems I have a dud, so I feel you. I have an aloe plant that is surprisingly temperamental. It's got such shallow roots that it's easy to get the watering wrong, and since it's a baby (parent plant nearly died completely) it's just very particular right now.

Yeah if you forget to change the water every few day and leave it for week like I have done lol you can wash with a little bit a vinegar just to make sure it doesn't mold. Also once it starts smelling like sulfur (can happen if you don't change the water, which I have done numerous times at this point) gig is up it won't make it past rooting, at least in my experience

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. I celebrate my 40th a few days after NYE/NYD - would love some recommendations on moderately priced but nice ambiance restaurants for myself + husband, and my extended family. Everyone is scattered throughout (Hamilton, Barrie, Lyle, Newmarket, North York). Don’t want anything too fancy but don’t really know where or what is good and not downtown.

Any recommendations? (Open to GTA of course).

Hello folks, I’m after some advice please. I recently bought a couple of indoor plants and added to the cart what I think is a very expensive bottle of natural mist to use on the leaves. All organic, glass bottle etc. supposed to use it 2-3 times per week but 2 weeks in I’m down to half a bottle and it was £15 (approx $20). I understand that I need to nurture the plants but it strikes me as a rather expensive mist. Is there anything you’d recommend I can use instead? Thanks.
