It takes me 40 minutes to get to work from home to out office in NYC.

Around 5 minutes, I guess. I try to walk to and from the office since it's not that far. It's in NJ.

Less than an hour. If it's traffic, then probably around an hour and a half. How about you?

Hmm. I'd say more than an hour. This is the most tiring part since but I guess it's all worth it.

It's only a 3-minute walk. My partner and I recently moved in near our office. It was the best decision.

I am still working from home. Other people find it hard to believe since most companies have already returned to the office. What about you?

Any millennials here worried about their parents retirement? My parents are set financially but I’m worried about their lack of hobbies and social life. They watch a lot of news, politics, stock market, and sports. However not much more than that. I feel I’d be fine with that if they were in their 80s or older but they’re early 60s. Anyone succeed in getting their parents to an activity filled retirement?

Random confession: My husband has been in the US for 5 yrs & currently on his second consulting firm working as a Java Software Engineer. English is his second language and I am always amazed at how he conducts himself during meetings when he has to explain his technical work. Consulting can be hard and mentally draining at times. I’ve always been my own worst critic but watching him work from home during the pandemic has given me the motivation to always try my best and give myself grace.

What can I do if I believe I’m being overcharged for utilities. I was charged prorated around 125 for 11 days for water and electricity (this is my share in a four bedroom apartment). I think this is crazy expensive for utilities for 11 days. I did just move to Austin, is it normal for utilities to be this high ?

For 🐠🐟 that live in the Circle C area, is there really a difference between Circle C proper vs. the surrounding neighborhoods (e.g. Circle C North)? Or are we basically just paying a premium for the name?

(We're waiting for prices to come down like a lot of people here, and the hubs is very focused on being within Circle C proper 😮‍💨.)
