BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

I was laid off during pregnancy as in-house transaction attorney and took several months to get my current litigation job. After 8 hours of applying, it's best to unwind, relax, exercise, and do something you used to enjoy and which may help restore confidence (which I think is very hard). I also took a pro bono case. Ultimately, I think what helped me were references from former employers and a showing of happiness, positivity, excitement, and confidence during interviews. This latter part is extremely difficult for me as someone who is a quiet introvert and speaks English as a second language. It takes lots of practice.
I’ve started adding trainings to my new “work-days.” I’m big into Salesforce so I’m taking trailheads to work on my skills and learn more. Linked in has free classes too. It is something good to talk in interviews too!
