#2 or #3 - differentiate yourself from 10000's of consultants applying every year
SC1, that is true but recognize the literal thousands of B4 candidates that apply. Sure, there are a lot of B4 admits, but they came from a massive applicant pool so the acceptance rate isn’t that great.
C
Brand name and lower risk of organizational failure which could leave you unemployed and/or without a good story.
Coach
None of these are bad choices, but I'd recommend B, then C, assuming no complicating life factors and decent risk tolerance. Of these paths, option B is not only the most differentiated, but has by far the greatest upside-for your narrative, for personal growth, for clarifying your life goals, for unique learning experiences, and so on. If you are more risk averse and confident that a larger start-up offer will come, can substitute C.
Nothing is guaranteed, and folks with all of these backgrounds get into M7s all the time. But the higher up you aim the more you need to stand out, and now that you already have the accenture name on your resume I might worry how much more you can do to stand out (or, more precisely, that those factors may well be outside your control).
B and then rethink if you really need an MBA after a few months at the startup. A small startup can be a better growth opportunity than an MBA if you shine there and the startup is successful, but it'll also make you stand out if you still want an MBA.
If you're looking at MBAs it's at least to some extent because you're not satisfied by your current job. Fall 2022 is still two years from now. Don't coast at a job you don't like for two more years.
You might like Shopify, but in terms of experience you won't regret, moving to Europe and joining a small startup sounds like a no-brainer if you already have the offer.
