Legal Professional, eDiscovery Specialist, Litigation Specialist, Legal Specialist, Legal Operations are just a few I’ve seen
Program Manager and similar roles in a Legal / Compliance department of tech companies. I have had two former coworkers (both paralegals) get jobs that way and they both were significantly higher pay
There are also newer kinds of outfits that offer on-demand paralegal services to a variety of clientele. Some are gig-like, where the service sets you up with a solo practitioner who needs support for a few months while working a big case (random example), but those can be quite variable and are unlikely to come with the benefits and stability you would get with a firm or inhouse role.
Think about your best specialization, and try to seek out non traditional places that provide that kind of service.
Dare I actually recommend a law firm, but bigger ones are the sort that may be willing to hire someone experienced in a remote role, because they have departments big enough to need people like fully dedicated to e-discovery or document review and production.
I am not finding many fully remote firms or firms that hire outside of states they are in. My COL is higher than where I moved from, but their salaries are what I was making 10-12 years ago, so working for a firm based in my state is not an option. That's the main reason I said likely no law firms.
