A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

I’d actually go to the lead with suggestions on how you could fit into phase 2 based on your understanding of the work and deliverables. Then you can close the convo with a question of “would my suggestions make sense within phase 2?” Always take the proactive approach when trying to be extended. Given your title, I’m assuming you are at 1-2 YOE; so it’s a good opportunity to show your understanding of the second phase. And, you won’t be docked if you are incorrect with your assumptions
I’m trying to see if I am the right person for the role (for myself) as it may be getting more technical which I don’t have interest or skills in staying if it’d be a bad fit.
First ask yourself what kind of work you wanna do? Does this project offer such role? What sort of project boundaries you wanna set for yourself (ex: how long you can stretch your working hours to). Can you work on the weekends or late in the evening?
Do you like long term project? If not, find out how long is this phase? Can you take on additional responsibilities? If yes, find out what other roles this phase can offer.
Do some exercise around these questions in your head and write few specific questions down. 😊
From my experience, the leadership style of the lead is often more important than just the role.
I’m technically in S&O and am currently on a tech implementation project, so my lead adjusted my role to be more client facing and I was able to get a lot of exposure, while still doing more functional tasks.
If you’re not responsible for any technical deliverables, this could be a great learning opportunity, my role was basically translating technical stuff in a way the client business would understand, so I got to see how technical stuff works without actually doing any of it :)
Oh I’m on phase 1, but it’s been interviews and high level strategy and initiatives / business case. Phase 2 is unclear regarding scope atm
