Depends on your reputation, awards, speed, and ability to be better than someone at the same rate.

But most of all, it depends on how little input they have to give you in order to make a deck that will sell. If you’re a cd and are waiting to be told what to do, you aren’t charging much.

Also, agencies don’t need freelancers to CD most of the time. They need senior creatives who can pump out quality ideas fast and build decks with minimal supervision.

Most cd levels freelancers I know are charging between 850-1000 a day. Agencies prefer day rates.

Anyone else have a hubby with a very low sex drive? I initiate most of the time and it really makes me feel neglected.
