I lost a relationship during my career progression. I had to work so many additional hours while taking courses in school and I really started neglecting my personal life. I didn't prioritize my relationship at the time and it suffered to the point where she choice to break things off. I have always regretted that even though I am pretty happy in my career.
I moved away from my family for a few years because the job opportunities in my hometown were just not getting me where I need to be. I don't regret it at all because I'm in a great place now and can work remotely. It's given me the space I need to move close to my parents, siblings, and nephews again.
I've made too many sacrifices to count. I've missed out on and walked away from so many things along the way. It's hard to answer whether I would do it the same if I had the chance to do it over again. I think we all would change some things, but looking back is not an option. Full steam ahead!
