Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

300k!!!!? I have four kids and we feel like 120k is good
Well that’s promising! Haven’t mapped it out... always just hear how expensive
success is not found in a number. it's a lifestyle that is the perfect balance between providing opportunities for and actually living with your family. sure a higher salary is a factor but not at the sacrifice of being miserable and a dick to your family/loved ones
Even at 200, I don’t feel successful because I feel like the ball could drop any given day.
130k for me - Southern California
What level are you at?
Money alone doesn’t tell the whole story. More money more responsibility. I feel like 150k is a good spot where you make enough money and have enough time/fewer responsibility. Once you break 200k, it’s a 24/7 job in most cases.
Successful is a different term for different people. To me successful is being able to afford a nice house, in a nice area, without having to penny pinch, worry about date night, kids activities, daycare, nice vacations, etc. To do that here in NY, I need about 400k combined with wife. 300k would put us in a nice spot, but 400k would put me in that successful category
However much it takes to not have to think about my food budget every day. Probably 100k
