What should be the salary ask for senior manager position in PWC advisory practice?

Rough TC benchmark for mid level corp dev (mix of m&a and strategy) role at a midsize private co in Toronto?
Lots of data on US corp dev TC, but not much for Toronto

I am an Account Executive and work in the programmatic team as part of a wider agency, but I’m not sure this is where I want to be. I want something more collaborative, creative, and less to do with numbers and budgets.
Does anyone have any idea what I should look into and how I could transition into that role?

When I joined my current company, we were on a quarterly bonus structure with guaranteed payouts each quarter. This was, in fact, how the recruiter said he could meet my salary request.

The company just announced we are moving to annual payouts only, with no payments for 2023 until May 2024. There are no raises happening.

This amounts to 12% less money in my pocket in 2023 plus inflation.

Is this standard, or should I be looking for opportunities elsewhere?

I find it difficult to host client meetings - how to drive conversation, fill in the pauses, and help drive the group move towards next steps consensus.
