Wouldn't it follow that if you're not angry enough to quit, than why would the firm have an incentive to give you more of a raise? I think the function of the talent teams of the B4 is to answer the question: 'how little can we pay our personnel without them quitting?'. I'd say move somewhere you feel you are being properly compensated for the value you bring to the firm.

Nothing you really can do unfortunately...partner will just lean back on the "this is what the compensation model tells us based on market value and your rating"

@d2, that is how every firm pays their employees. What is the least amount of expense to maximize profit? Basic microeconomics
