Recommendations for a Hilton property in Vegas?

Ritz (Marriott) vs Bellevue (Hyatt) vs Curio (Hilton) in Philly? Starting a long-term gig in a couple of weeks.

Restaurants, bars in Cleveland? Thanks! Staying at the Ritz if that helps.

Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

Currently work with finance industry. Looking for SE role in Travel/hospitality industry (I.e. EXPE, Marriott, Southwest, AA, Delta, airlines).
Some questions:

1. Which one offers job security?
2. How is it like working with them?(WLB/teammate/culture/support for career growth)
3. Which Business Unit I should avoid?(known for its horrible wlb)

4. Other advice/insight?

Any recommendations for a honey moon hotel for December? Bora Bora Westin seems to be $$ only, no points redemption there. On the water/by the water preferably, Marriott obviously.

Got Marriott Gold via SPG Gold match. If I stay 25 more nights in Marriott properties will I earn platinum?

We’re planning to be in Kauai for a week in mid-December, but I’m thinking of extending the trip an extra 10 days. Would we have enough to do with a 4yo in tow? Or maybe not worth it to stay that long? Staying at the Grand Hyatt first week, then downgrade to Sheraton Coconut Beach.

Anyone know if you get status night credit when staying at a hotel paid for by an airline? Delta put me up in a Sheraton after a delay and I provided my SPG # but the night hasn’t been credited

I always thought relations on a personal level work well, but I am starting to feel like it’s more their perception of your knowledge/skills? As one moves up the ladder relation and network matters a lot from a BD angle, but any tips on how to be more “memorable”?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
