I have a strict stopping time because my kids are more important than my job and I spent too many decades of my life spending all hours of the day working. I remember one day my daughter was struggling with homework and started crying and I asked her why she didn't come to me for help and she told me because I was already stressed out with work all the time, all hours of the night. That was a big catalyst for me to stop being available to my job and start being available for my family. It's been hard and sometimes I backslide into old behaviors, but in general I try to have a pretty strict stop time at 5 PM.

Thanks for sharing
Done? Is anyone ever done in the sales industry? Hah! Even when I'm on vacation, I'm still checking on recent hot leads from before I left. My company does not require that, but I'm trying to make moves (and money, let's be honest lol). Point is, I have "worked" pretty much all hours of the day, but I'm also almost fully reliant on commission.

That’s tough!
Technically, my workday is supposed to end at 5 PM each day. Although some days I stay until like six or seven in the evening. But I would say most days mentally I’m checked out between 2:30 to 3:30 PM and I’m just killing time the rest of the day. I know I should be working until five but the mornings are so stressful that by mid afternoon I don’t have the energy to think properly anymore.

This is like me. I hit the ground running, but then I fizzle.
