Band teachers... how do your virtual band classes work? I’ve been doing music theory with students via google classroom and kids constantly ask to play instruments. It seems like a nightmare to have 30 kids with instruments online because of the delay in sound. Help plzzzz

I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.

I have COVID delayed vacations planned for the last week in August and the first week in October.

Should I just cancel one of them? Or should I at least put both on the table and see what they say? They're going to hire me either way, but I wonder if it's a bad start to ask for both.

I have received an offer as SD1 at Amazon Gurgaon. I have 1 yr and 6 months of experience. I did my BTech in computer science from 2016-20. I had some active backlogs as well. Due to covid, many exams were not conducted and as for the ones that did happen, the results are taking forever to come. Right now I have one backlog and the result is yet to be announced. I am positive I will pass. Will this affect my offer from Amazon during background check as I am yet to receive degree?

Received a pretty nice job offer (40% bump) but I really don’t feel qualified for the position. I’ve clearly stated my experience and the new company is still extremely interested in me. Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.
