6 months-was recruited for more $$, didn’t feel like I was growing and peaced out.
8 months, immediately called the CCO when i accepted an offer I couldnt refuse. She was disappointed but ultimately understood!
So you went straight to the CCO instead of your manager to resign?
Just shy of 6 months and it was for a more prestigious agency offering a promotion and 55k pay bump. I got a generous counter offer which I politely declined; ultimately they were super understanding of the move which I was grateful for!
7 months. Boss was MAGA. Quit as soon as I could.
8 months and I just resigned. Nothing special lol
A week
Less than 6 months. My boss was a total effing snake, and I was offered a higher position with a former managing director I knew who was at a new agency. Peace!!!
The best promotions are when they bring you along! Or offer you a new role!
About 3 months. I was hired to fill a role that was being vacated by someone within the agency to take on a new role within the agency. Turns out she didn’t actually want to take on the new role and essentially refused to onboard me so I was doing essentially nothing…. Raised it to multiple management levels several times for promises it’d be sorted out but it wasn’t. I had received an offer from another agency at the same time I’d taken the first job so I reached back out to them and was able to join. I ended up working with someone at another agency I’d worked with at the short-stint agency who told me that after I left the agency and team completely took responsibility for their mishandling of the situation and didn’t blame me at all for leaving so quickly (which was nice it was recognized though obviously didn’t affect me, but potentially avoided burning any bridges)
3-4 weeks lol
Under one week. My partner turned out to be a hack and the agency didn’t resource projects properly…I hade a freelance assigning me their projects to do for them.
10 months
One week.
I was at an agency and had lost a client that kept me full time and my manager was incredibly toxic. After that, the hostility and me not having billable time became too much, so I interviewed at several spots though the process was taking forever. A small shop reached out, sounded promising, and I needed to get out of there so I accepted. When I got there, CEO wanted to be in the mix on EVERYTHING with teams running with minimal structure. Middle of that week one of the earlier interviews reached out with an offer and a much cooler client so I offered to put in two weeks, and they’re like nah, just go today.. I’m sure it was a huge inconvenience for them but I’m so glad that I did.
2 years. I welcomed a counter but they couldn’t match my 50% salary increase.
3 months lol just dipped
